WEEK 39 - New Harvest: New Creation Leads to New Harvest (請按此處收聼廣東話Cantonese podcast click here)

Bible Study
     
     We are almost at the end of our 40 days break.build spiritual journey. Today's passage give us a full picture of what would happen if you live out what you have got the past 38 days. You will taste the fruit of harvest! Harvest!

     Let's review what we have heard from Jesus these 39 days:
1.  Repentance
     Everything starts with your repentance

2.  New Being, New Doing, New Relationship
     When you are willing to repent (lots of time daily) then you enter into or return back to His Kingdom. Jesus is Lord. Then you experience your New Being, New Doing and New Relationship. New Being as to live out the Beatitudes, New Doing as to do more giving, praying and fasting, New Relationship as you do not take the role of God. Enjoying a new relationship as a Father and his child. By the way, you may notice that I change the "New Standard" to "New Relationship" because that is a better word to describe Chapter 7.

3. New Authority
    Jesus demonstrates the new Kingdom authority will happen when we live out the New Being, New Doing and New Relationship.

4. Harvest
    Harvest will come and we have to pray for more workers into his harvest field. First start with us.

   Do you think these four steps is happening in your life? If yes, praise the Lord. If no, then you have to go through repentance again. Everything starts with repentance.


Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"



Spiritual Journal

     The topic I received from Jesus today is : 
     New harvest: New creation leads to new harvest

      What I got from Jesus today is to use one word to express the four steps - New Creation. Jesus reminds me now of what Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:17

  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

     When the new creation has come, the harvest will come.

     Jesus' doesn't often tell his disciples what to pray for, but this time he does. When you pray for that, you need to be one of the workers. What you need to pray for is that for you and more people keep on experiencing these four steps of "New Creation". 

      New creation leads to new harvest!
     
Dear Lord Jesus,
      Lead us to be willing to keep on experiencing these four steps of "New Creation" that we can be able to taste the sweetness of the fruit of this new harvest.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

1. Read Matthew 9:35-38 again now. According to this passage, in what kind of condition will the harvest come? You can get the hint from reading verses 35 to 36.

2.  What would the difference be if you become one of God's new creation as describe by Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:17 to enhance the coming harvest? 

3.  How are you going to prepare our coming Alpha starting April 9 to be one of the labourers for the coming harvest? Please get one yellow card, pray for Jesus to review one to two faces to you, then pray for that two people so that Jesus can soften their hearts and that they will accept your invitation to come to our 1st session or later sessions of our coming Alpha. Please do it now.
